Was born 13^th June 1901 in Hampden, Massachusetts, USA and was named after his grandfather Carlos Mark Furminger.

He died 16^th October 1990 in Washington DC and is buried at Arlington National Cemetery.

On the 29^th June 1931 in Iowa City, IA, USA. He married Gladys Mae KANAK She as born 9^th May 1906, she died 10^th September 1998 and is also buried at Arlington National Cemetery. Her last known address was Montgomery, Maryland.

Carlos was a member of the United States Marine Corp Band.
